Now we have completed the first full month of training for 2017 at LTK it is time for more student of the month awards! Congratulations to those students who gained the award which is achieved by consistent attendance, attitude, respect, behaviour amongst other things. Well done to Kyle Dales of Weobley, Caden Davies of Rhayader, Chloe Lloyd-Bithell & Noah Heaven of Presteigne, and Ruby Koffer of Llanidloes. Keep working hard!

Extra Training Session

We had the first extra training session to kick off the year at Presteigne recently. Thanks to the students who attended and made it a fun session, and to those who travelled to support it. We covered lots of sparring drills for 2 hours! These extra sessions will move around the clubs throughout the year so try your best to attend them at your club.

Black Belts Only

We also had the first Black Belt only session to kick off the year again at Presteigne. Thanks to the black belts that came and to those who trained in the extra session too! I was really impressed with the LTK black belts and had lots of fun training with you for 2 hours of sparring! I really appreciate everyone attending and to those who travelled, this session will also move around the clubs so I look forward to seeing you again!

A New Class! Tuesday 7.30pm Presteigne Memorial Hall

Lee has developed links with the Minnesota Kali Group in the USA led by Rick Faye, and here in the UK led by Brendan Westwood over a few years now, and is excited to launch MKG Presteigne in January 2017. This is a mixed martial art class for adults and is initially aimed at beginners and we have had a great response to this new class!

So if you always wanted to learn martial arts but Karate didn't take your fancy, come along and try mixed martial arts. You do not need to be fit, or young, just the will to turn up! Click on the links in the description above for full details about this new class and MKG.
