September Student of the month:
Now we have got Summer out of the way it's back to finding the student of the month at the LTK clubs! Congratulations to those students who gained the award which is achieved by consistent attendance, attitude, respect, behaviour, being a great training partner, amongst other things. Well done to Tommy Spence of Weobley, Reuben Ingram of Rhayader, Ashia Day, Chloe Lloyd-Bithell, Luke Gibbs of Presteigne, and Ted Pert & Shannon Macken of Llanidloes. Keep working hard!

Monthly Membership Fee:
LTK clubs have now been running for over 10 years and during that time the monthly membership fee has only increased twice, even though expenses for running a karate club continue to increase every year. That is why from October of this year the monthly fee for a student will increase by only 50p a lesson. This price is still very, very competitive compared to other karate clubs in the area and other activities. This equates to £24 a month per student for Karate, payable as usual at the start of every month. (The £2 discount for additional family members still applies.) Full details will be given out in due course and if you need further clarification please contact me. Thank you for your continued support of our group.

New LTK APP for your mobile devices!:
Lee Taylor has created the Lee Taylor Karate App for your Android smartphones and tablets. What this means is that LTK students can have video references of karate drills / kata / bunkai information at your fingertips! The app will be updated regularly and will contain videos on the following topics:Solo kata performance of various Kata, Impact and Pad Drills, Seminar Footage from Lee and other Instructors, Karate Throws, Locks and Ground Drills, Forthcoming Events Info, Along with other content as we continue to expand the LTK app. Click HERE and download yours today for only £1.79 !

Student BCKA License Renewal:
This annual license registers the student with the British Combat Karate Association, and it also provides insurance cover for the student during their training. Students who have a license book need to renew it by October 30th 2017 for the forthcoming year. Emails will be sent out automatically with details to renew along with flyers at all the clubs. This is an essential part of a student's training so renewing in advance will be greatly appreciated. If you want further information about this please email Sensei Lee.

LTK Skills For Life Packs:
Each junior student receives a skills for life pack relevant to their next colour belt grade in karate, which is packed full of information to help them work towards the next level. In each pack there are sheets which include a Syllabus, Grading Info, Action Words, School Achievement Record and Home Achievement Record. The pack will help the student work towards their next grading whilst developing essential skills connecting them to the club, school and home life. Showing the student that everything that can be learned in the dojo can be applied to other areas to help them achieve any goals they want to work hard for. These will be issued during October.
